When I started blogging, I wanted to make money from home. I didn’t care how I was going to do it. I also was a single Mom, and didn’t want to work nights. This was all I knew.
“You need a niche”, is what everyone says. “And an audience!”
I was reading so many blogging tips, it was information overload.
I didn’t have a niche and I couldn’t narrow down who my audience was.
I’d grab 1-2 great tips from 1 blog and 1 from another. But the rest were all saying the same thing over and over again. Where were the real stories of people who made nothing the first 2 years of blogging?
Instead of the glory and accomplishments, here are some of the most embarrassing mistakes I made when I started blogging. The mistakes that held me back from being successful the first 2 years.
